Dr. Bashir Jamoh concluded his tenure as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) on Tuesday, as his term expired on March 10.
At a handover ceremony held at NIMASA Towers in Victoria Island, Jamoh officially transferred the agency’s affairs to Chudi Offodile, the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, in the presence of both senior and junior staff.
Jamoh expressed his appreciation to the Federal Government for the opportunity to serve and urged the incoming leadership to build upon the achievements of the past four years. He also commended the professionalism and cooperation of the agency’s staff, acknowledging their significant contribution to realizing NIMASA’s mandate during his tenure.
As Dr. Bashir Jamoh steps down from his role, the NIMASA community looks forward to the new leadership’s commitment to maintaining the agency’s standards and advancing its objectives in ensuring maritime safety and promoting Nigeria’s maritime interests.
