The president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), claimed that during his meeting with King Charles III, he informed the monarch that he does not have a home in the United Kingdom.
In a 25-second video that was released on Twitter by Tolu Ogunlesi, Buhari made this revelation in response to a query.
The president stated, “When he (King Charles III) asked me if I had a residence here (UK), I responded no, even in Nigeria, the ones I have are those I built before I entered office.
“I am not very interested in owning assets spread out over the the place. I feel freer when I have nothing,” he maintained.
