Uganda Hopes to Enhance its Trading Relations with China.

In an effort to find further avenues for pursuing economic and commercial cooperation on a “win-win basis,” authorities from the East African nation of Uganda said that it plans to deepen its relations with China, a longtime trading partner.

Uganda’s ambassador to China, Ms. Oliver Wonekha, identified a number of potential for lucrative investments for the Chinese business community during her tour to the eastern Asian nation’s province of Shandong.

The ambassador claims that over the past 30 years, Uganda has developed into a highly stable nation with one of the lowest crime rates and most stable inflation rates in East Africa, averaging 4.89 percent.

According to the ambassador, Uganda and China have had friendly and cordial relations since 1962.
