Shareholders on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) are in for a rewarding month as 12 listed companies have confirmed dividend payments scheduled for June 2026, signaling continued strength in income-generating stocks across the market. The payouts span multiple sectors, including banking, energy, manufacturing, insurance, hospitality, and construction.

Leading the pack is Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, which is set to deliver the largest scheduled payout by value. The pan-African banking group has proposed a final dividend of 0.16 cents per share, with payment expected on June 30, 2026, following strong financial performance marked by rising revenue, improved profitability, and a sharp jump in retained earnings.

Other major names on the dividend list include UAC of Nigeria Plc, Beta Glass Plc, CAP Plc, and Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc, all of which reported varying degrees of earnings growth in 2025. While some companies like Beta Glass and Skyway Aviation posted significant profit surges, others such as UAC of Nigeria saw strong revenue growth but weaker bottom-line performance.

In the industrial and energy space, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and Seplat Energy Plc stand out with robust earnings momentum. Julius Berger recorded a near doubling of profit after tax, while Seplat Energy delivered a massive revenue jump driven by expanded energy sales. Both firms are rewarding investors with dividends scheduled for June 19, 2026, reinforcing investor confidence in the sector’s resilience.

However, not all companies posted gains. Haldane McCall Plc recorded declines in revenue and profit, yet still maintained dividend payments, showing a continued commitment to shareholders. The broader list also includes NPF Microfinance Bank, AIICO Insurance, Ikeja Hotel, and May & Baker Nigeria Plc—each reflecting the diversity of Nigeria’s dividend-paying stocks and the sustained attractiveness of the NGX for long-term investors.
