LivingTrust Mortgage Bank, a Nigerian financial company, has named Wale Bolorunduro as its new chairman, starting from April 19, 2024. Bolorunduro takes over from Adebayo Jimoh pending approval from regulators.
Before this role, Bolorunduro held positions in the banking sector, notably reaching the rank of General Manager at Zenith Bank Plc. He also served as the commissioner for finance, budget, and economic planning in Osun State, along with other roles in the public sector. Additionally, he previously chaired the board of the Bank from 2011 to 2016.
Bolorunduro’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, further studies at the University of British Columbia in Canada for master’s and Doctorate Degrees, and a master’s degree in Corporate Governance from Leeds Business School in the United Kingdom.
