Market breadth improved, with 68 gainers and eight losers, reflecting positive investor sentiment.Transcorp Plc, United Bank for Africa, Zenith Bank, Access Holdings, and MTN Nigeria emerged as the most traded stocks, contributing significantly to the day’s market activity. Despite MTN Nigeria’s share price remaining flat, a substantial 2,832,680 units worth N791.554 million were exchanged in 419 deals. Among the gainers were Chams Holdings, Daar Communications, Axa Mansard, PZ Cussons, Sovereign Insurance Plc, and Tantalizer Plc, each appreciating by 10%. Meanwhile, Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc, Julius Berger, Custodian, Africa Prudential, FBN Holdings, Champion, ABC Transport, and United Capital were among the losers, experiencing varying degrees of decline.
