According to Gurpreet Gill, macro strategist for global fixed income at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the coming year is looking to be the most promising for fixed income in more than a decade.

Gill stated that valuations in the fixed income markets, including corporate bonds and developing markets, were looking more attractive than they had a year prior.

“We believe that investing in agency mortgage-backed securities in the U.S. market for high quality short duration assets makes sense”, she added.
