Fintech Flutterwave has announced plans to shut down its virtual dollar card service, known as ‘Bartercard’ effective from July 17th.
This was as a result of an update relayed by their Bartercard partner who said the card service will be unavailable for an extended period of time.
However, Flutterwave said it would ensure the restoration of the service as soon as possible and further advised its customers to unlink their Dollar Card(s) from any recurring payments and replace them with another payment method.
