The Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Limited, Fola Tinubu, has been announced as the Chairman of the inaugural JustAlive Communications Transport Summit, scheduled to take place on October 29, 2025, in Lagos. The one-day event aims to unite leaders and stakeholders across Nigeria’s transport and logistics sectors to discuss innovation and sustainability in the nation’s transport infrastructure.

The summit, themed “Nigeria’s Transport Infrastructure: Innovation for a Sustainable Future,” will also feature Dr. Segun Musa, Managing Director of Widescope Logistics Limited, as the keynote speaker. Organisers say the event will provide a rare platform for government officials, private sector players, and transport experts to collaborate on practical solutions that can redefine Nigeria’s transport landscape.

According to Mrs. Pearl Ngwama, Managing Director of JustAlive Communications Ltd, the summit is a “timely intervention” designed to address the ongoing challenges facing Nigeria’s transportation systems, including inadequate infrastructure, urban congestion, and environmental concerns. She added that the dialogue will focus on building a future-ready network that supports economic growth and sustainable mobility across the country.

Ngwama also noted that the initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes infrastructure and transportation as key drivers of national development. “Our goal is to foster partnerships that translate ideas into action—bridging gaps, creating jobs, and ensuring mobility for all Nigerians,” she said.

Fola Tinubu, a respected figure in Nigeria’s transportation industry, holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, and an MBA from the University of Stirling, Scotland. Under his leadership, Primero Transport Services has championed innovation in Lagos’s public transit system, positioning him as a leading voice in shaping the future of mobility in Nigeria.
