President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has instructed cement companies to return to previous pricing levels, as disclosed by Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, after inspecting BUA cement factory in Sokoto.
Following a meeting with manufacturers, Tinubu directed them to adhere to the earlier price of cement to facilitate the nation’s housing program and concrete road agenda.
Umahi emphasized the importance of manufacturers abiding by the president’s directive to support government initiatives aimed at addressing housing challenges and advancing infrastructure development. He commended BUA cement for completing its 5th line and acknowledged its commitment to operational efficiency.
During Umahi’s visit, he praised the company’s dedication to maintaining cleanliness throughout its premises, highlighting its contributions to promoting a conducive working environment and operational excellence.
