This dividend payout, scheduled for March 28, underscores the strong financial performance of Geregu Power and further cements Otedola’s position as one of Nigeria’s top dividend earners.
With a fortune estimated at $1.1 billion by Forbes, Otedola ranks among Africa’s billionaires. His majority ownership in Geregu Power, which comprises 1,965,980,568 ordinary shares valued at nearly $1 billion, has significantly contributed to his financial success in recent years.
