Dangote Cement Ibese Plant is acquiring 100 trucks customized for easy transportation of biomass waste from all over the country for the Alternative Fuel project as part of efforts to improve environmental sustainability and migration to the use of alternative fuel to power its operations.
Already, the company’s management delivered and commissioned 20 such trucks over the weekend, pledging that the plant will not desist in its pursuit of zero carbon emissions and saving Mother Earth.
In addition to the specialized fleet for the management of Biomass waste, Niels Deck has donated 100,000 pieces of 100kg capacity bags for the management of agro-waste in villages across Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the Dangote Cement Plc’s Head of Alternative Fuel, Engr.
