2022 Non-Oil Export Revenue Of $4.8 billion, According To NEPC

The Nigerian Export Promotion Council has pledged to make sure that Nigeria surpasses the $4.82 billion it made from non-oil exports in 2022.

The NEPC’s Ekiti State Coordinator, Mrs. Iyabode Abe, stated that the organization “would continue to support the development of non-oil export in order to defend the nation’s economy” under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Yakussak Ezra.

A one-day technical and training event on product packaging for exporters and Small and Medium Enterprises in Ekiti State was where Abe spoke in Ado, Ekiti.

As a result of the Council’s efforts to promote non-oil export, which increased the country’s Gross Domestic Product by 15 percent, more than $4.82 billion was earned from that industry in 2022. She also said Zenith Bank holds seminar to boost non-oil export Fidelity Bank to build capacity in non-oil export sector

The event was organised by NEPC where the Council donated two packaging machines to be domiciled at the Technical Incubation Centre in the capital city for use by SMEs in the state to package their products.
