Global Women Network, a nongovernmental organization based in the United Kingdom with roots in Nigeria, is hosting a seminar to coincide with the launch of its information and communication technology-related courses for a select group of participants.

This comes after the foundation successfully established a training center in Abuja.

Mrs Roni Akins, the Network’s Chief Executive Officer, made this known to journalists recently at a press conference in Abuja.

“The launch of some basic ICT courses marks the beginning of our much-anticipated and much-discussed training and mentorship program, with the core goal of creating opportunities for young women to realize their full potential of becoming financially independent.”
