The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced plans to launch its next-generation revenue administration platform, Rev360, in a move aimed at modernizing Nigeria’s tax system. The platform is scheduled to go live on April 30, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the agency’s digital transformation journey.

In a statement released on Thursday, the agency described Rev360 as a major upgrade designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and overall taxpayer experience. According to the NRS, the initiative represents a shift toward a more responsive and technology-driven tax administration framework that aligns with global standards.

The development builds on earlier reforms, including the introduction of TaxPro Max, which enabled electronic tax filing and reduced the need for physical interactions. With Rev360, the agency is taking a step further by creating a fully integrated and intelligent system that supports real-time reporting and automated processes.

Officials say the platform ushers in what they call “Tax Administration 3.0,” where tax systems are embedded directly into business operations, allowing for faster processing, better compliance, and improved decision-making. The agency noted that taxpayers will benefit from a smoother and more flexible interaction with the system.

The rollout will begin with medium and emerging taxpayers following a successful pilot phase, with a structured implementation plan to ensure stability. Under the leadership of Zacch Adedeji, the NRS says it is also prioritizing training, stakeholder engagement, and continuous system improvement, positioning Rev360 as a key driver of innovation and national economic development.
