Recent developments from leading AI companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic highlight what experts describe as a growing “dual-use dilemma.” These advanced systems can detect software vulnerabilities across operating systems and web platforms in seconds, making them powerful tools for cybersecurity professionals.

Cybersecurity experts stress the importance of maintaining “AI integrity” through guardrails, ethical frameworks, and controlled deployment. As cybercriminals increasingly use AI for phishing, malware, and automated attacks, experts warn that balancing innovation with security will be critical to protecting global digital infrastructure.
