The 2025 edition of the Nigeria eGovernment Summit is gearing up to advance digital governance through the strategic use of public-private partnerships (PPPs). Organized by DigiServe Network Services in collaboration with the Association of Telecoms Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the event underscores the importance of technology in improving public service delivery.
Lanre Ajayi, convener of the summit, emphasized that Nigerian citizens deserve efficient and transparent governance. He noted that the integration of emerging technologies into government processes is vital to achieving this goal. Ajayi reiterated that collaboration between government and the private sector is essential for developing effective digital solutions.
Themed “Public-Private Partnership for Effective eGovernment Solutions,” this year’s summit will focus on building frameworks that enable seamless cooperation between the government and tech providers. The event aims to foster dialogue that leads to practical digital innovations and policy recommendations to benefit citizens.
Now in its seventh edition, the summit plans to bring together stakeholders from both public institutions and private technology companies. These discussions are expected to highlight best practices in digital transformation and explore actionable strategies to boost citizen access to government services through technological advancements.
