Dangote Refinery and Neptune Oil have successfully executed the first-ever export of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from Dangote Refinery, Africa’s largest oil refinery, to Cameroon. This achievement marks a significant milestone in regional energy integration, highlighting the growing collaboration between the two companies to strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and Cameroon. The move aims to meet the increasing energy needs of the region while promoting African self-sufficiency in energy production.

Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Dangote Group, emphasized that this export represents a step toward realizing his vision for a united and energy-independent Africa. He stressed that this development signals a future where African resources are processed and exchanged within the continent, benefiting local communities and economies. Similarly, Antoine Ndzengue, Director and Owner of Neptune Oil, underscored the importance of the partnership, noting that it strengthens Cameroon’s energy security while eliminating the need for international intermediaries.

Looking ahead, both companies are focused on further developing a reliable supply chain to stabilize fuel prices and generate new economic opportunities across the region. This collaboration goes beyond a one-time export and is poised to drive long-term benefits for both nations and contribute to a more integrated African energy market.
