Access Bank PLC has been recognized as the only Nigerian company on Forbes’ 2024 World’s Best Employers List, reflecting its dedication to fostering an inclusive, empowering workplace culture. The bank, one of just 13 African companies among the 850 global firms ranked, highlights its focus on gender equity and opportunities for growth in the African banking sector.
The recognition underscores Access Bank’s commitment to employee satisfaction and development. Emeka Dibia, Head of Human Resources (Nigeria), emphasized that employees are central to the institution’s success, with initiatives designed to nurture talent, promote well-being, and encourage professional growth.
Forbes compiled the list in collaboration with Statista, based on surveys of over 300,000 employees from multinational companies across 50 countries. The evaluations considered salary, talent development, diversity, and work flexibility, with recent employee feedback giving significant weight in determining the rankings.
