E-sports company EStars has partnered with Ecobank Nigeria to promote esports education and equip students with essential life skills. This collaboration aligns with Ecobank’s commitment to youth empowerment through education and technology.

Mags Byrne, EStars’ CEO, highlighted how esports can go beyond gaming to help students develop critical digital skills.

Omoboye Odu, Ecobank’s head of SMEs, Partnerships, and Collaborations, praised the initiative for supporting the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.

The partnership aims to prepare young Africans for success in the digital age, contributing to Africa’s long-term development.

The partnership will introduce the “Esports Club,” an online educational platform offering games that foster soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking.

This platform, developed by EStars’ experts, will be implemented in schools across Nigeria, with plans to expand into other parts of Africa using Ecobank’s network to reach remote areas.
