Kuda, through its Kuda Business platform, has launched virtual and physical point-of-sale (PoS) products aimed at streamlining payment processing for freelancers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The new solutions are designed to help businesses accept payments more quickly while addressing common challenges like delayed payment confirmations and fragmented banking services.

The Virtual PoS allows businesses to process payments at scale using account numbers, eliminating the need for physical PoS hardware.

This innovative solution offers cost-saving benefits by enabling the creation of multiple free terminal account numbers, which can be assigned to sales staff. Payments are instantly confirmed via email, SMS, or directly on mobile phones, ensuring smooth transactions.

For businesses that rely on in-person payments, Kuda’s physical PoS devices handle both card payments and bank transfers with instant settlement, giving businesses immediate access to their funds. These tools are especially beneficial for SMEs that face challenges like delayed payments.

Nosa Oyegun, Kuda’s Vice President of Product and Innovation, emphasized that these PoS products are aimed at enhancing business efficiency, reducing costs, and providing SMEs with reliable and fast payment solutions. The launch underscores Kuda’s commitment to empowering Nigerian SMEs and addressing their specific needs in the payments space.
