Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL) announced plans to introduce three electric vehicles in Nigeria over the next three years. This aligns with the government’s green deal initiative to promote sustainable practices. The first electric vehicle, the Toyota Cross, will arrive by the end of 2024. This will be followed by the RAV4 hybrid in 2025 and the Land Cruiser Prado hybrid in late 2025 or early 2026. In addition to electric vehicles, TNL is also supporting the government’s push for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles. They plan to leverage their network of workshops to facilitate CNG conversion for existing vehicles. This announcement comes alongside the recently held Toyota Motor Show, a three-day event showcasing new products, special offers, and interactive experiences for customers.
