Several passengers on a recent Abuja-bound Air Peace flight claim their belongings went missing during the trip. A Nigerian passenger, Lere Adams, reported that his phone, plugged into a power bank within his bag, was stolen from the overhead compartment. He also mentioned a British passenger missing two laptops and an Indian passenger missing a laptop and wallet from their bags.
Adams expressed frustration with the airline’s response, stating that despite reporting the theft immediately upon landing, Air Peace offered no concrete explanations or solutions. He is particularly concerned about the stolen phone containing personal and banking information.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has not yet received official complaints but has promised to investigate the incident further.
