The Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC), a prominent organization supporting Black-owned businesses, has appointed Samuel Adeyemi to a key leadership role. Adeyemi, currently the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, will serve as the Communication Lead for the ABC’s Global Opportunity Committee (GOC).
The GOC works to connect Black businesses with international trade, partnership, and investment opportunities. In this new role, Adeyemi will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to raise awareness of the GOC’s initiatives. His focus will be on promoting the GOC’s ambitious goal of facilitating $100 billion in global transactions for Black businesses within the next decade.
Adeyemi is expected to play a dual role, contributing to the ABC’s mission of fostering economic development for Black businesses in Nigeria, while also leading GOC communication efforts globally. The ABC leadership expressed confidence in Adeyemi’s ability to expand access, collaboration, and connection opportunities for Black-owned businesses on an international scale.
