FBN Holdings has confirmed the departure of Mr. Tunde Hassan-Odukale as Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited following the expiration of his tenure.

Mr. Ebenezer Olufowose, who previously served as a Non-Executive Director, has been appointed as the new Chairman, bringing over three decades of experience in the financial sector, including roles at prestigious institutions like First Ally Capital Limited and Access Bank Plc.

Hassan-Odukale’s 12-year tenure is marked by strategic leadership and significant contributions to the bank’s growth and stability. Meanwhile, Olufowose’s extensive background in banking and finance, coupled with his academic achievements and professional memberships, positions him well for the new role.
