Notore Chemical Industries has announced the appointment of Femi Agbaje as the new chairman of its board of directors, succeeding former Nigerian Head of State, Yakubu Gowon, who retired from the board in January 2021.
Agbaje, currently a non-executive director of the company, will serve until the completion of the company’s ongoing private placement transaction. He brings extensive experience to the role, having served as the company’s chief financial officer until September 2018. With a career spanning over four decades, he began at prestigious firms such as Peat Marwick Cassleton Elliot & Co and Deloitte Haskins & Sells UK. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, UK.
