The China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Ltd (CCECC) has recommenced work on section 4 of the Enugu-Port Harcourt dual carriageway following the Federal Government’s withdrawal of a previous termination notice. Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed this during a recent inspection. The decision to revoke the termination notice, initially issued due to concerns over the project’s slow pace, reflects the government’s recognition of CCECC’s improved performance and dedication to project efficiency. Umahi praised the quality and pace of work, indicating positive progress and effective project management. As CCECC resumes work on the Enugu-Port Harcourt dual carriageway, stakeholders anticipate accelerated progress and timely completion in the area.
