The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) has unveiled the second edition of the NSIA Prize for Innovation (NPI 2.0), offering Nigerian startups a combined prize value of $220,000.
Winners of the prize will also receive an all-expense-paid, five-week training at Draper University in Silicon Valley, USA, as stated in a recent announcement by the organization in Abuja.
Aminu Umar-Sadiq, the Managing Director, lauded the NSIA Prize for Innovation as a testament to the Authority’s commitment to bolstering the Nigerian tech ecosystem. He emphasized the significance of the prize in fostering innovation and driving improvements in socio-economic indicators across Nigeria.
The prize not only offers financial rewards but also offers access to world-class training and mentorship in one of the world’s foremost technology hubs, Silicon Valley.
