Oil Theft: President Tinubu Applauds Security Agencies for Effort

President Bola Tinubu has praised Tantita Security Services Limited and other security agencies for their effective collaboration in combating oil theft.

The commendation was delivered by Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, during an inspection of the MT. Kali vessel apprehended by Tantita and other security forces in Oporoza, Delta State.

Accompanied by officials from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and high-ranking military personnel, Musa assured decisive action against oil thieves and their sponsors. He emphasized that the seized vessel would be destroyed according to established protocols to serve as a deterrent to potential offenders.

Major General Musa called for unity between the government and private security agencies, urging the media to refrain from creating disaffection.
