Seven major oil marketers in Nigeria, including 11 Plc, Conoil Plc, Ardova Plc, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, OVH Energy Marketing Limited, Total Nigeria Plc, and NNPC Retail, have officially registered with the Dangote Petroleum Refinery. This registration marks a significant step towards the distribution of refined petroleum products from the $20 billion facility.Dealers, represented by the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, confirmed their readiness to begin fuel distribution pending the finalization of commercial terms. In a related development, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria announced plans to meet with the Dangote refinery’s management this week to discuss terms for product loading. The collaboration is an essential moment for the oil industry in Nigeria. In response to the recent development, Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support and encouragement as this sets the stage for a more efficient petroleum product distribution network in Nigeria.
