According to a recent circular, the Central Bank of Nigeria has authorized four indigenous businesses to issue checks in the nation.

The firms listed in the circular, which was signed by Sam Okojere, Director of the Banking Services Department, are Superflux International Limited, Tripple Gee and Company, Yaliam Press Limited, and Marvelous Mike Press.

These businesses were accredited and given permission to print and personalize checks. Two companies that were authorized and approved in 2014 were not included on the current list.

The companies include Euphoria Group Limited and Nigeria Security Printing and Minting Company Plc.
The total number of cheques printers has dropped from 14 in 2010 to four currently, which is a decrease of 71.43 per cent.
