Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, stated his administration’s willingness to work with the African Development Bank and take advantage of possibilities made available by the institution’s $618 million tech fund.

The governor ordered the creation of a support desk so Osun tech entrepreneurs and innovators could have access to the AfDB’s freshly announced $618 million innovation fund.

In a statement released on Sunday in Osogbo by the governor’s spokeswoman, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke praised AfDB President Dr. Akinwumi Adesina for the effort.

The African Development Bank has established a $618 million fund to promote Nigeria’s technology and creative industries, said Adeleke. We are also looking at agreements with the African Development Bank,” he continued.
