Among its most recent initiatives are the sale of a majority share in Equator Energy Ltd. by Maris Ltd. and Nvision Ltd. to IBL Energy Holdings Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mauritius conglomerate IBL Group, and STOA, an impact fund for energy and infrastructure established by Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) and Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

“IBL Energy’s entry into the C&I solar market in Africa is excellent for the growth of C&I solar adoption.
I believe that the purchase of businesses with a lot of available real estate for solar, like Naivas and its more than 90 outlets in Kenya, as part of IBL Group’s expansion plan should assist to accelerate the adoption of solar within the group’s operations.
