At the grand finale of the Lagos State All Secondary Schools Tax Quiz Competition Program, which was sponsored by a member of the institute, Pro Ezekiel Williams, in Lagos, the CITN awarded several prizes to secondary school pupils who excelled.
The quiz’s winner received N300,000 in cash as well as a full scholarship for the first year of college.
“We want to capture kids early so that, at this stage of their development, they will comprehend the taxes issue.
The quiz was organized by the CITN with support from Lagos State, according to Dr. Titilayo Fowokan, chairman of the committee for student affairs and tertiary education relations, and roughly 60 schools and 700 students took part.
