BlackRock Eyes Deal to Buy Into Biggest Africa Wind Power Farm in Kenya

Northern Kenya’s Lake Turkana Wind Power is home to Africa’s largest wind farm, and a public-private partnership supported by BlackRock Alternatives intends to purchase a 31.25% interest in it.

The Investment Fund for Developing Countries, Vestas, and Finnfund equity stakes will be acquired by the Climate Finance Partnership, which was created by BlackRock, the governments of France, Germany, and Japan, as well as US impact organizations.
