Over 135 Indian companies have made a total of $19 billion in investments in Nigeria over the course of the last 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations, according to Shri Balasubramanian, the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria.
The high commissioner noted that India and Nigeria have a positive relationship, and his visit was intended to strengthen these ties and expand the two nations’ exchanges of news and cultural programming.
He estimates that there are 60,000 Indians living in Nigeria today who have called the nation their home for the past 40 years. With the help of NAN management, the envoy additionally pledged to improve ties between his nation and Nigeria.
He claimed that Nigeria’s invitation to the G20 Summit as a guest participant for 2023 in India would form a unique opportunity to showcase the priority of developing countries to the world.
