According to the Peoples Democratic Party, the Central Bank of Nigeria’s new cash withdrawal policy was designed with low-income citizens in mind.
Momodu acknowledged that “if enforced, the policy would strangle the political process, not the PDP alone,” but added that the party’s finance committee would address the policy as it affected the party.
Regarding potential effects of the policy’s implementation on the PDP, Momodu said, “The party’s finance committee is in a better position to assess how much this will influence us as we get ready for the various activities leading up to the general elections.
