The integration of Lekki Port with Lagos Free Zone, according to Mr. Dinesh Rathi, Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Free Zone, will be a significant catalyst for generating significant economic fortunes for Nigeria.

He stated that in order to accelerate development and improve the economic well-being of its citizens, Nigeria must start concentrating on planned city developments like the special economic zones.

Given its integration with the well-equipped Lekki Port, he claims that Lagos Free Zone is a prime illustration of a planned development that can spur growth.

He further explained that the combination of LFZ and the commencement of operations at Lekki Port remains a game changer that would help to unlock the country’s economic opportunities.
