Bboxx, a manufacturer and distributor of plug-and-play solar systems with a focus on Africa, and its partner EDF, a world authority on low-carbon energy sources, have obtained a loan from the Facility for Energy Inclusion Off-Grid Energy Fund (FEI OGEF).
The two businesses will be able to increase their clean electrification delivery in Togo due to the €11 million loan. EDF is dedicated to supplying low-carbon energy options in the area along with Bboxx.
The money from the fund will help the Bboxx-EDF partnership complete its goal of closing the energy access gap in this African nation.
