A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the processing and sale of rice both locally and internationally has been signed between the Tiamin Rice Company and the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN).
The MoU, according to him, would be in effect for two years. It was inked at the firm’s mill in Bauchi State, which has a 600 metric ton per hour capacity. Over N20 billion would be spent on these measures.
According to Aliyu, the CBN’s Private Sector-Led Accelerated Agricultural Development Scheme (P-AADS) funding were initially made available to the Tiamin Rice Company.
