Ugandans Are Denied Visas By The UAE

A visa restriction has been imposed on Ugandans and 20 other nations with immediate effect by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities.

Authorities stated in a warning sent to business partners, including travel agencies, that all applications should be denied. This is the most recent move in the UAE’s efforts to make it harder for foreigners to enter the nation.

In the past, many people have used the 30-day visit visas as an excuse to remain in the nation. Particularly Africans who want to work in the United Arab Emirates, mostly in Dubai.

All migrant workers from Uganda must now submit police certificates of good behavior before being admitted to the UAE. This is under a new rule that was implemented earlier this year.
