According to Russian authorities, a fuel depot exploded in southern Russia near Ukraine. This is a result of a suspected drone attack.
There were no casualties in the alleged attack, which occurred about 200 kilometers (125 miles) from the Ukrainian border in the province of Oryol. “There were no casualties,” said Andrei Klytchkov, governor of the Oryol region, in a Telegram statement.
Several fuel or ammunition depots in southern Russia have been attacked by drones or helicopters since the start of the Russian offensive in Ukraine, with Russian authorities blaming Ukrainian forces.
The majority of the attacks took place against targets only tens of kilometers away. Russia launched dozens of missiles at various towns across Ukraine.
