The East-West Road Project Sections 1-4 from Warri to Port Harcourt, Eket, and Oron contract value was N260 billion; with approval from the Federal Executive Council increasing the total money needed for it to N506 billion.
The parts originally cost roughly N246 billion. The change was a part of the decisions by the council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Additionally, Fashola received approval from the FEC to award contracts for the urgent repairs and special general maintenance of a number of national highways.
The minister of agriculture, also addressed the memo approved for his ministry; and allayed concerns about a possible food shortage in the nation as a result of the recent devastation.
