The management of the Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja’s Utako neighbourhood suspended operations; due to threats to the safety of the Federal Capital Territory.
The management of the mall revealed in a post on its Instagram account, that although it wasn’t their intention to interfere with business; they had made the choice for the security of patrons and employees.
They added that the mall would be reopened as soon as possible and that they were reviewing the security situation with the appropriate authorities.
Their post read “To all of our cherished customers, Jabi Lake Mall will be closed today, October 27, 2022. This choice has been made with the safety of all employees and customers in mind”.
