MTN Nigeria Plans To Issue A N100billion Bond To Pay For Operating Capital.

Under its new N200 billion bond issuance program, MTN Nigeria Plc intends to issue up to N100 billion in series 1 bonds.

The telecom company announced in a statement acquired from the Nigerian Exchange Limited; that it has finished registering with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); for its N200 billion bond issuing program scheduled in July 2022.

The series 1 (Tranche A) 4-Year Fixed Rate Bond and series 1 (Tranche B) 10-Year Fixed Rate Bond will be issued by MTN Nigeria as part of the program. With this issuance, MTN Nigeria is continuing to support its corporate goals by diversifying its finance sources.

The book adaptation of the series 1 (Tranche A and B) Bond will be released by MTN Nigeria(15 September 2022).
