Market Operations Will Cease On September 19 At The Bank of England.

In accordance with its standard procedure for public holidays, the Bank of England said that it will stop its CHAPS interbank payment services; and sterling money market activities on September 19, the day of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

The BoE added that it will prolong the time period during which interest is calculated for reserves; placed with it until September 21; reflecting the one-week delay to its September monetary policy decision, which will be made public on September 22.
