FG expects more than 500MW of electricity from interconnected mini-grids to be developed by the Rural Electrification Agency.
FG blamed Friday’s national grid collapse on the sabotage of the country’s power infrastructure by vandals.

Via his official Twitter handle on Sunday, the S.A to the President on Infrastructure, Ahmed Zakari, said the REA had been spending billions of naira on renewable energy and mini-grids.
The nation’s electricity grid had collapsed again, making it the 3rd time the grid had collapsed within 1 month.
