FG wants EU ban on Nigerian beans exports lifted

The Nigerian FG is making efforts to ensure that the ban on beans exports from Nigeria by the EU is lifted.

FG said the ban lift will stimulate Nigeria export potentials and better the lot of stakeholders in the beans export value chain.

Abe, who spoke at a technical session on value chain export development addressed the issue of chemical residue in the storage of dried beans for export.

In the EU, it was discovered that the pest chemical residue in our beans was too high as of 2015.
