Toyota Nigeria says it will not compromise on quality of vehicles, spare parts and after-sale services.
It noted that Toyota had over the years remained among top brands in the country due to quality products.
This is contained in the statement released by signed by the TNL’s Public Relations and Advert Manager, Mrs Bukonla Ogunnusi.
The company issued the statement in reaction to the performance of Toyota at the recent Nigerian auto industry awards held in Lagos.
The firm expressed satisfaction with the performance of three of its products, the Hilux, Hiace and the transformed Starlet in 2021.
The company won the highest number of awards at the 2021 edition of the Nigeria Auto Awards held recently in Lagos. Chairman of Toyota Nigeria, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo, was also named the Pillar of the Nigeria Auto Industry.
The TNL thanked the customers for their support through continued patronage.
“The awards are dedicated to our customers for their loyalty to the brand and continued patronage,” the statement added.
According to the firm, Toyota Starlet, a new entrant in the company’s array of models, won the Most Transformed New Entrant of the Year at the award event.
Toyota Hilux fondly nicknamed the workhorse, won the Pick-Up of the Year award while the Toyota Hiace won the Minibus of the Year award.
