The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced a 100 billion naira loan support for health laboratories in the country.

Central Bank Governor, Mr Godwin Emiefele said the loan is part of the CBN’s intervention in the economy following the impact of COVID 19.

Mr Emiefele further stated that that the Apex Bank has also increased its intervention in the manufacturing sector by one trillion naira.

He further directed all commercial banks in the country to support pharmaceutical companies and others in the Healthcare industry.
